New City Cover 10.28.10: Betty the Crumbling-Skullcracker Crocker:)

When Matthew from New City emailed me to ask if I’d be interested in doing a Zombie cover shoot for them, I wonder if I replied “YES!!!!” a little too quickly?!:) I just happened to be email chatting with Donna Touch, that same day, and I knew she would be perfect for the role!  With an amazing crew and incredibly early start time, we were fueled by Intelligentsia and our love of Zombies to make these super fun images!

I have to admit, I love grown men in matching pajamas!  Thanks so much to Crains for sending us to Sleepyhead headquarters to meet these two awesome fellows!  Chuck and Eli are the creators of a new anti-energy drink, which has ingredients like melatonin and valerian root to promote relaxation and sleep.  Having purchased some valerian root tea myself, I can tell you, the Sleepyhead guys have found a far better way to package the (ahem) FRAGRANT ingredient!  We are storing the tea in a Ziploc, inside an airtight plastic container, inside of another Ziploc and you can still smell it through the wall in the next room!!!!  Check out the accompanying video from Crains News for a great interview with Chuck about the product.

Feast your eyes upon this super cool thank you note fresh out of the mailbox!  A collaboration between the extraordinary Kate Levinson http://www.levinsonlocations.com and the good ol’ USPS, this is by far the most creative piece of mail I’ve received in a long time!  I wonder what it looked like as Kate dropped it in the mailbox, but could it be as great as seeing the scraps of paper that hint of what might have been?

Keep your eyes glued to the blog for the project Kate and I most recently worked on together-you won’t be disappointed!  Just a little hint, there wasn’t much wardrobe!;)
